This policy explains how GemRank SEO handles personal information collected through gemrankseo.com and initial business inquiries.
Who we are
GemRank SEO is an online SEO consultancy operated by Rohit Jhanjhot, based in Madhya Pradesh, India. Rohit Jhanjhot is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For privacy questions, requests or complaints, email contact@gemrankseo.com.
Information you provide
Our contact form collects your name, email address and message. Business name and website are optional. We also receive information you choose to include in emails and follow-up correspondence. Please do not send passwords, payment details or other sensitive information through the contact form.
How we use your information
We use inquiry information to respond to your questions, understand your business and discuss whether our SEO services could help. We also use correspondence to maintain a record of discussions, resolve issues and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not currently run a newsletter or add inquiry details to a marketing CRM. Any additional handling of client information will be explained when services are agreed.
Contact form and email
The form uses Contact Form 7 and sends submissions to our Hostinger-hosted contact@gemrankseo.com mailbox through authenticated email. The current form does not store a separate submission database in WordPress. Copies remain in email correspondence, and technical systems may retain delivery, error or security records.
Technical information and hosting
Hostinger provides website hosting, content delivery and email services. Hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, request times and errors to operate the site, maintain performance, investigate faults and protect against abuse.
Fonts and external resources
The site loads Inter and Playfair Display fonts through Google Fonts. When your browser requests these resources, Google receives technical request information, such as your IP address and browser information. The site also loads a Hostinger Reach resource, although its marketing integration is not connected. Provider information is available in the Google Privacy Policy and Hostinger Privacy Policy.
Comments
Where comments are available, WordPress collects your comment, name, email address, optional website address, IP address and browser identifier. Approved comments and the name supplied may appear publicly; your email address is not displayed with your comment. Avatar display is enabled, so an email-derived identifier may be sent to Gravatar and avatar images may load from its service. See the Automattic Privacy Policy. Comments and associated records remain in WordPress until removed. You can request removal using the contact details above.
Cookies and analytics
WordPress uses cookies for administrator sign-in and preferences. If you leave a comment, you can choose to save your comment details in browser cookies for future comments. Hosting and security services may also use cookies needed to operate or protect the website. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may affect some functions. Google Analytics and Google Search Console are not currently connected. We do not currently use advertising pixels. We will update this policy before adding analytics or other tools that change how personal information is handled, and provide cookie choices where required.
Sharing and processing locations
Information is processed by the providers needed to operate the site and deliver correspondence, including Hostinger, Google Fonts and Gravatar where avatar features are used. We may also disclose information where required by law or to address a legal claim. These providers may process information outside India or your country of residence. Their privacy and processing terms describe their arrangements.
How long we keep information
For inquiries that do not become client relationships, we delete inquiry emails within 12 months of the last substantive correspondence, unless a legal obligation or unresolved dispute requires longer retention. Client information is handled according to the service arrangements and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Comment records remain until removed, as described above. Hosting logs, delivery records and backup copies follow the relevant provider’s retention cycles and may not disappear immediately when an active record is deleted.
Your choices, requests and complaints
Email contact@gemrankseo.com to ask about information we hold about you, request access, correction or deletion, withdraw permission for a use that relies on your consent, or raise a privacy concern. Withdrawing permission does not undo processing already carried out. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or claims. Rohit Jhanjhot handles privacy requests and complaints. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have a right to complain to the relevant data protection authority.
Security
We use HTTPS for the website and authenticated, encrypted connections for outgoing inquiry emails. Access to website administration and the mailbox requires authentication. No internet transmission or storage system can eliminate every risk.
